The Book Fair will feature the traditional BolognaRagazzi Award: divided into three sections (Fiction, Non-Fiction, and New Horizons) the Prizes are awarded to inspire excellence in children’s publishing standards.
In 2008 the BolognaRagazzi Award will dedicate a special section to Poetry, a vibrant sector of children’s literature, touching both tradition and experimenting, with wonderful and noteworthy achievements.
Books of poetry published from 2005 are entitled to enter the competition: the winner will be selected by the Jury of the BolognaRagazzi Award.
The participating titles will also be included in a catalogue, accompanying an itinerant exhibition to major Italian cities.

The first KIDS LICENSING FORUM Licensing professionals will have a special initiative dedicated to exploring new trends and novelties available on the European and Italian market.
